Opportunities for Earning Q-Coins


Alliance Gathering Night

Once a month, (possibly more as time warrants) we will schedule a get-together of the Alliance Members. Anyone who attends this gathering will receive 25 QC.

War/Event Participation

Whether War or the Festival of Beltane is on the horizon, participation is important. Any member who participates in a War be it proctoring or fighting will receive 15 QC per match, (25 QC if it is a Mass War Match). Any member who participates in an Event will receive 15 QC per Event. (Except our own Gryphon Tournament, where you are paid qc for each point you earn.)

Attending the Monthly QCC Market, or the Monthly QCC Races (on either one or both nights), earns 25 QC per attendance. (Attendance is being defined as showing up and actually RPing your character being there, not just sitting in the room like a dead frog.)

Opening the Claw and Cross, The Blooming Rose

Any member of the Alliance is welcome, no ... encouraged to open the Claw and Cross, our main tavern, or the Blooming Rose in Ivory Ward, our secondary tavern. Any member who opens either tavern will receive 30 QC per hour for tending the bar. Any member who shows up to RP while the taverns are open will receive 15QC per hour. (Showing up to RP is defined as actually RPing your character interacting in the tavern, not just sitting in the room like a dead frog.) Members who open the tavern/s three or more times during a week will recieve a 50QC bonus. Members who open either tavern every day for an entire week will receive a 100QC bonus. (Bonuses are not cumulative.) *Note - Whoever opens the taverns is responsible for sending in the log to RaeNAlsia to receive credit. If that person is kind enough to note and record at the head of that log the members who where there and how long the Claw and Cross was open will receive an additional 25QC bonus for administrative assistance to the QCCT.

Posting/Story Lines

We will give out a QC award for members who write well written posts to our storyboard. Members will also receive a bonus per post for a well written Story Line that they initiated, and members posting to that Story Line will also receive a bonus per post they submit. *Note - Well written indicates that the member took some time and put some effort into writing the post, no one line responses, or half paragraph posts will be considered acceptable. Members are responsible for submitting the link to the post to RaeNAlsia for the post to be considered for Q Coin award.

Opening a Business/Betting on the Races

If you would like to open your own business the QCC Main Link at the bottom of this page will take you to the guidelines for opening a business or shop. We will not pay you to open a shop, shops earn their own Q Coins by selling their goods to other QCC members. You may also use that link to find the Betting Office for the QCC Races held once each month. You may then bet your Q Coins on the horses and hope that you win. The QCC Main Link is also an excellent way to find others shops to spend your Q Coins.

Members are responsible for sending the QCCT (Rae NAlsia) the necessary proof of activities to earn their Q Coin awards. I will not be responsible for tracking your awards, only for awarding them, as I cannot be everywhere at once.

Please also be aware that there are times when *I* will screw up and forget to hand out awards unless reminded. If I have forgotten and you are the one who reminds me, I'll give you a 25QC bonus.

***Please Note that Store Accounts have now been simplified and the totals added to the store owner's personal account for easier accounting, unless requested otherwise. Jointly owned buisnesses will now have a listing created here.
